Angela's Bouquet...

Today we "did the flowers" for Angela's Wedding...she had a small gathering of her closest friends and family at her beautiful home in Kits Point. My very favourite kind of celebration...intimate with all the very best friends, wines, food, and flowers.
In this photo I am holding Angela's teardrop bouquet of bright yellows, chartreuse, and ivory....

Yellow and white South American Roses, Yellow Freesia, Ivory and celery green Dendrobium Orchids, and Chartreuse Cymbidium Orchids with bright yellow throats. Angela's bouquet was wired and bound in oyster white ribbon and detailed with pearl pins.
I LOVED this wedding...

Bright and sunny, happy and easygoing...
just like Angela!

More of Lydia & Doug's Wedding at Hycroft....

On May 23rd, My head designer, (and one of my favourite people in the world) married her long time boyfriend Doug, at Hycroft Mansion (University Womens Club)
Lydia's Bouquet was a mix of fruity shades of tangerine, watermelon, raspberry & lime.

The "family" flowers...each member of the family wore a "Cherry Brandy" Rose
(all 72 of them!)
The Groom & his party wore miniature chartreuse Cymbidium Orchids with deer moss detailing...
The Bridesmaids Bouquets were a bit smaller, and didn't have the touch of Chartreuse...we saved that for Lydia! All the bouquets were wired and bound in ivory satin ribbon, with French chiffon bow details.
Oscar & Hilary set-up the pew markers at the ceremony...
The finished look...
The pew markers get a second chance...
decorating the chairs at the parents tables at the reception later that evening.
The cake is decorated with fresh Raspberries, Peonies, and Roses...
The cake was from Clare at Indulgence Desserts (our favourite pastry chef)
and was absolutely beautiful and mouth watering....
The whole day was just delicious!!!

The Foyer....
A touch of blue.
A South American Anastasia Rose lies comfortably amidst locally grown Hydrangea and Dahlias on the Head Table.
ps: One of the hottest days of the year! 35c without a breeze in sight....
and in the heat haze I forgot to take my camera to the Church for the ceremony and weddding party photos.
Oops!
(Will hopefully be able to get some of those shots from the photographer and will post them as soon as possible...)
