Arthur Erickson Home & Garden Tours

Yesterday, On what would have been Arthur Erickson's 85th birthday, along with all the people who loved and admired him, I said goodbye at his memorial service held at one of his finest accomplishments...Simon Fraser University in Burnaby. A most spectacular setting that reflects Arthur's ability to design & build within our magnificent Pacific Northwest landscape.

Although Arthur is gone, his home & garden will be maintained and open to the public. Guided tours of the garden have begun for the season:

Every Thursday at 5:00 PM until October 29 (reserve 24 hours in advance);

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for a minimum of 4 people (reserve 2 weeks in advance).

Admission $10

Reserve by email
aegarden@telus.net or 604-738-4195

Address and directions will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation.

I hope you will visit this Japanese-inspired West Coast garden of Canada's celebrated architect. Located in Point Grey, Vancouver. Proceeds help to maintain and preserve this tranquil garden.
