Lydia & Doug Get Married At Hycroft

For all of (my head designer) Lydias' friends and fans at the store...here is a shot of her & her husband Doug at her most incredibly fantastic wedding which took place at Hycroft Mansion on Saturday May 23rd. We all had a wonderful time and many happy tears were shed. Lydia carried a bouquet of pinks, oranges, and chartreuse...Peonies, Roses & Cymbidium Orchids...Doug wore a boutonierre of chartreuse mini Cymbidium Orchids.

Congratulations to both Lydia & Doug and you know we all love you & wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! Enjoy your honeymoon & we'll see you in a few weeks...

Goodbye Arthur Erickson

It is with a very heavy heart that I say goodbye to Arthur Erickson, who passed away yesterday. Over the past 10 years i was fortunate enough to get to know him a little bit & I grew to both admire & love him for his warmth, his honesty, and his kindness.

Arthur, I will miss your elegant soul & think of you often. When I see our mutual friends or am graced to be in any of the spaces you designed, or whenever I see the wet concrete sparkle when the sunlight comes out. I loved talking flowers with you...

As Time Goes By...Mothers Day & my 17th Anniversary

Well, another year has gone by...the last half of it a bit trying with the economic downturn. Thank God Spring is finally here, the Cherry Blossoms are a pink carpet on the streets, and on May 2nd, I celebrated my 17th Anniversary! Thank you to all my wonderful clients for their continued support! Thanks also to Lydia my amazing head designer, Michelle & Erin my designers fantastique, Oscar, my buyer & accountant, Lola, my Chihuahua sister, & Luna, our other resident pup, for making work each day a great place to throw around ideas & play with flowers (and dogs)Thanks also to my Mom, who inspired my love for flowers (and dogs)....My Mom circa 1952
